What To Wear NOW : Seen on the Street

Rule Breakers
I've never been one for rules, so imagine my delight last Sunday when spring-like temps in New York City brought out some fellow rule-breakers. All looking fabulous.

Ivory Lac
e
These girls look so cute and seasonally appropriate in their white lace dresses with black tights.

You can style the look casual or a little more dressy depending on your life
style. It's so easy and unexpected. The key for pre-season is to layer your ivory lace with dark colors on top and bottom.

Bright White (in March)

Since this Savvy City Girl was little, the color white has been associated with two
holiday's: Memorial Day and Labor Day. You can start wearing it on the first, and stop on the second. But these savvy girls proved that a bright white on a sunny March day is a fashion "DO".

Pairing with rich, dark colors is a must for wearing bright whites pre-season. Don't forget to wear your brown boots with your white/black look. It will keep you from looking like a penguin.

Mixing Pastels and Earth Tones

This Manhattan diva has it all going on. Grey, black, hunter green, pink and lilac - and it all looks great!

The texture of the jacket it what's pulling the whole look together. And when she arrives at her destination and takes off her outerwear, her pink handbag will add the perfect feminine touch to her grey dress and black buckled boots. Love her look and confidence!

Special "Thanks!" go out to all of the SCG's who let me snap their pics this weekend. You look AMAZING!!!
